Year 2 Eco club
This term we have been very busy carrying out energy survey's, litter survey's (we are pleased to announce that our school is very energy efficient and litter free)
We have also been very creative re-using plastic plug plant pots for Mother's Day (we decorated them filled them with our own compost from the school compost bins and planted a spring bulb in them for our Mums!
We also haven't forgotten about the birds, in recent weeks the weather and temperature hasn't been kind to the birds so we have been filling up the bird feeders and hanging up fat balls for them.
Easter is almost upon us and our next craft task will involve willow. (we are going to use off cuts from our willow dome and make simple nests to take home)
we have also been busy making badges to sell to raise money to buy plants for our sensory and wildlife gardens!
